Coffee Inspired by Southeast Alaska

Our coffee is inspired by the wild beauty of Southeast Alaska. Bold like the ocean, smooth like the morning mist, and crafted in small batches right here on the island. From hearty blends that fuel fishermen at dawn to bright roasts perfect for a slow weekend, every cup carries the taste of our coastal home.

A Little Common Ground...

Born on the little island in Petersburg, Alaska, Common Grounds began with Britni roasting small-batch beans for neighbors and fishermen at first light. What started as one cozy counter became a daily ritual for locals and visitors alike. A place to warm up, swap stories, and grab a truly good cup of coffee. Today, with two locations and Alaska Island Coffee is at the heart of it all, we’re proud to keep the island’s rhythm brewing strong.
